That's funny, Maggie...kids do the darndest things! My second son, between the ages of two and three, would insist on wearing a pair of blue plastic safety goggles from his Bob the Builder tool kit, day and night, inside, outside, 24/7.
He recently, at age 7, rediscovered them when little brother pulled them out of the toy box. For a moment there we had a scuffle on our hands and I had to take them from the three year old, there are still attachment issues, evidently. :0)
My three boys, er, men. I knew discovering this site could lead to problems, it's just so darn easy to use. 
Too cute!!! when i was three, i had a mustache my dad brought from a business trip. i would not take it off for two weeks.
