This speaks to me.

And it's saying, "clean me."

No, seriously, I'm kidding. There is something quietly beautiful going on here. I have no idea where or why or how, but the architecture it hints at and the color palette that has evolved is really lovely. Kind of reminds me of this.

  8. This reminds me of a tiny open-air synagogue we found in the Caribbean that had sand floors. So dreamy.

  9. This was my computer background for awhile!! I think - could be wrong - that this is a picture from an abandoned community somewhere in Northern Africa/Middle East... I feel like there were all these colonial type houses built in this neighborhood and then the families all left and the desert is slowly taking them back. If I ever run across the story I'll send it to you!
