Sweet

And I'm kinda seriously digging the carnation art. Sort of makes the space don't you think?

Slightly traditional + a little oddball makes for a sweet room.

  2. Love love LOVE.

I'm starting to feel Laura Ashley type prints, too.

And, no, I haven't sustained a head injury.

  4. Yup, love it- I'm actually on a total carnation binge lately...I think they are HIGHLY underrated in the flower department and that painting proves it...fabulous!

  6. The painting is by a well known american artist - Donald Baechler. It's actually not 'Laura Ashley' at all.

  8. Hello Anon. Thanks or visiting and might I add, thanks for the schooling. But, unnecessary, since I am quite familiar with Donald Baechler and his whimsical work. In fact, his Beach Ball painting and his Flower Study are on my list of all time favorites. As for Laura Ashley, the reference was
made with regard to the "prints." As in fabric prints, not the painting.

  16. HI NEyla,
LOve the carnation art. I linked to it in my blog today, Decor Arts Now. (Nov. 12). I think it would be smashing in a kids room. Best, Lynn
