Pure Magic

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Barcelona. Magical Barcelona. With its fanciful, centuries-old architecture, lyrical language, beautiful people...that trip will forever be ingrained in my subconscious. So when I came across this masterpiece of an 18th Century flat, smack dab in the middle of Barcelona, there was no way that I wouldn't fall hard. And I did. Look at the tile, people. You know they had me at the tile.

  1. Before I knew where this was, I thought "this has to be Spain." Yeah, I was right. I have been to Europe a few times but have never made it there. Can you believe it? It is definitely on my list!! Beautiful images, as always!

  8. The tile and the ceiling... holy cow. What is preventing any of us from installing fab tile like that in our house? Could it really look the same? I am on a mission to find out.
