With this glorious apartment. And my heart is beating double time. The location: Vienna, Austria. The owner's, the Reders, have lived in this 1,722-square foot attic apartment for over 40 years and get this, because of local regulations pay around $600 a month. Yeah, I know, makes me want to cry too.
There are far too many amazing details to cover here, but when I say I love a lived-in, collected over time, artsy fartsy look- this. is. it. A life well lived surrounded by meaningful objects. Wow.
In other news, I'm signing off for the rest of the week. The kiddos are a week into summer vacation and my hands are full playing mom. Also, we have a bedroom re-decoration in the works and I have to get to painting walls and furniture, and pulling up carpet, and picking out some lighting, and.......
