From the Archives: Our Small Fry Sportin' Some Big Moves

Hubby just pulled up this video and we almost burst at the seams with laughter. This is the youngest of our threesome, we like to call him Superstar. The video was taken while we were on vacation over two years ago, which would have put him right around two at the time. He has always had an insane love for music and dancing, especially "ip op," as he likes to call it. That summer Hairspray, the movie, was on constant rotation. He memorized all the choreography. Seriously, I kid you not, and loved to sing along in his then broken English. What do you think?

The kid's got some moves, if I do say so myself!

OK, now I have happy tears. I so remember those days of my little man in baggy gray jersey shorts. Precious! And your little guy had obviously STUDIED that movie carefully. Even in his carried- away dancin' he knew ALL the hand motions without looking at the video. AWESOME. Thanks for that lovely and fun look at your family and thanks for taking me back to those sweet days of my family.

WOW. That's amazing. All the Pea can do in twirl in circles when she's a "ballerina."

He is so cute! reallly - he's got a talent there - for a two year old that's really really good. Maybe keep dance school in mind for when he's older - it could be his passion and something that makes him really really happy.

Hi Anon. Thanks, I agree, it is his passion even at such a young age. And it makes us really happy to watch him get his groove on. :0)
