I'd be willing to live within a postage stamp size footprint for a view like that, wouldn't you? If you need a little more convincing, what if I told you the expansive rooftop vistas were of Rome. This attic nest is the home of artist Ursula Franco and is indeed perched above the city centre of Rome. It's instantly evident that an artistic soul resides within these walls. I love the carefree mix of elements, the explosion of color and beautiful forms, treasures in every nook and cranny, a delicious bohemian stew. I imagine, at night, perhaps all lit up by candlelight, this place must be magical.

this beautiful and simple Swedish apartment. And I know we all remember Zach Motl's fabulous take on small living in the big apple. But just in case you need a refresher, check it out
