Kitchens are utilitarian, functional, even work horses, but rarely are they sexy. However, this masculine specimen definitely fits the bill. Those floors make my heart race.

There is something wonderfully authentic, genuine, even spontaneous about this kitchen. That perfect stream of dappled light, the door casually thrown askew, and that one-of-a-kind hood leave me yearning for a private tour...bonus points if a chilled glass of white was included.

I have become a pinning machine.

In fact, this is the very reason why I avoided the lure of Pinterest for so long. I knew I would get sucked into the abyss. Knew it was dangerous to even dip a toe in. But, alas, it is too late. I'm hooked. So here are the fruits of my "labor"...enjoy!

These Are a Few of My Favorite...Pins!

Love the rustic vibe and I don't know if it's simply the light, or if the walls are really a wonderfully watery blue stain, but I am transfixed.

Ok, now the fact that I am intrigued by this one is, well, intriguing. I'm not normally one who heeds the siren call of pastels, but I'm really enjoying the way they warm up those brushed concrete walls. Oh, and the rug...I'm really enjoying that rug.
