I'm Back.

Well, at least in body, if not wholly in mind. I have a mountain of laundry that is whispering my name and suitcases strewn here and there, as well as children to tend to who, somehow, manage to be soooo bored within fifteen minutes of being home. So what's a girl to do? Well, procrastinate of course! To hell with the laundry, let's look at some pretty pictures!

Personally I'd love to squirrel away in any one of these dark, quiet, cozy corners. You know, to escape the stifling heat, my needy wee ones, and oh, let's not forget that evil pile of laundry.

Bare Bones Lovely in Paris

Originally a haberdashery built in the 1800s, this beautiful structure residing on Paris's Left Bank is now home to a young married couple. They've chosen to let many of the original, quirky spaces remain intact instead of refashioning the building to suit a more modern lifestyle. I love the beautiful floors, volumes of space, and the charming vine covered exterior.
