{1st day of school sundae, circa 2008}
This afternoon, at approximately 3:15, I have a date with three boys, one sweet husband, andone rather large and probably rather messy ice cream sundae. It's our first day of school tradition, you see. Wonder what flavors they'll choose this time around?
If your little ones have gone back to school today, I hope it was a good day! And for you first-timers, I feel your pain. The youngest starts preschool for the first time at the end of the month and my eyes are already welling up. (sniff, sniff)

What a neat tradition! I often say that I'd love to go back as my kid. I think I'd love to go back as your kid too!
We went backpack and lunchbox shopping today too and I just kept saying I can't believe you're in first grade. Crazy. I've still go a year or two before the little guy is off to preschool, but I can imagine your heartache.
Great tradition. Love it. And am mourning our first day coming soon. I have NO IDEA where this Summer went. Wish it could last longer.
What I great tradition! My oldest just started 8th grade and I swear I just don't know where the years went...
