Grateful

This threesome has been particularly troublesome lately. Mind you, not all three at once. It's usually two out of the three that are on a wild streak. Just enough to push me to the edge, but not quite over. Sneaky, aren't they. So I thought it was a good time to stop and smell the roses. Cause even when they're bad, they're so, so good. And the roses, well, they're pretty damn cute, huh?

Desk Job

It's that time of year again, back-to-school. My threesome officially started back yesterday and let me tell you, it might have been the longest day of my life. From left to right: 4th grade, Kindergarten, and 6th(!) grade. All of that equated to a mama who is kid-free most of the day. Heart. Broken. And to think, I have to do it all over again for the next 180 days. Sigh.

In the meantime, lets take a look at some great "work" spaces. 'Cause if you gotta do homework, you might as well have a pretty perch to work from!

Guess Who's SIX!

Impossible, but true. Right from the get-go he surprised us with his blond hair and hasn't stopped wowing us since. His boundless energy, effervescent personality, inimitable smile, athletic prowess, superstar dance moves never cease to amaze me. We love you little big boy and are truly blessed to watch you grow and blossom into the most astonishing human being. Happy Birthday, J!

He's The Man!

No, there's nothing wrong with your vision, and the photo is not all fuzzy, it's just that I'm all misty-eyed. It's hard to stay focused when I'm thinking about my Mr. P. He's the center of our universe, our earth's core and the most wonderful father and husband that I could ever have hoped for. Happy Father's Day, honey, we love you beyond all words and reason.

p.s.- thanks for walking the dog.

An Even More Handsome Threesome

I've been missing in action in large part due to this handsome threesome. The end of the school year always brings with it a deluge of activities and deadlines, but this year is especially busy as I have a rising middle schooler and a rising kindergartener (pause as I wipe away a runaway tear). So I have been planning end-of-year celebrations, field days, graduation receptions, getting ready for fifth grade carnivals and picnics and year book signings for three of my very favorite little people. I hope I can catch up with ya'll soon. Perhaps once summer rolls in I'll have a little more wiggle room in my schedule (cue maniacal laughter). Until then, I hope all of your occasions and celebrations are equally as joyful. See you soon....XOXO.

Good Friday

Yesterday was a good Friday indeed. I got to spend time with two of my best friends, Susie and Jenny. We super duper missed our third musketeer. But, in the process, we managed to snag a fourth to add to our posse. Let's just say he never knew what hit him.

Happy Saturday.

P.S.- if you're in Atlanta or plan on visiting, be sure not to miss Mr. Adler's Emporium of Fun.
