Log Cabin Chic? {seriously}

Okay, so truth be told, I never thought I would have log cabin envy. But do I ever have log cabin envy. I guess with a little vision and a good dose of design savvy, anything is possible. The transformation of this home is so inspiring. Somehow, the juxtaposition of the clean, modern, bright furnishings really makes the lovely wooden interiors sing. And the furnishings themselves look all the more striking juxtaposed against the warm woody walls, ceilings, and floors. Sounds like a match made in heaven. Actually, in Nashville. Tennessee that is.

What an interesting home, I agree with you, the modern lines go really well with the warmth of wood!

Wow! I can’t even recall another log cabin that I actually liked. This is killer. I’m going to download these photos so that when I win the lottery, I can have my dream mountain getaway. I'll just point to the pictures and tell the builder “do this!”

Oh Susie. Me too, me too. Maybe we can get a two for one special so we don't have to blow our entire wad of lottery winnings! ;0)

this is seriously the coolest log cabin i've ever seen -- who would've thought a log cabin could be so great, right?!

That's a gorgeous home! The modern decor and traditional structure work so well together. I would feel so at home there!
