Wee Bit of Indigo

This one's for you, Mb.

Hello, Hello! Where did the summer go? Back to school is the official motto in our house. Those long summer days are behind us and homework and soccer practice fill up the calendar. Nonetheless, my head is in the clouds, or, more accurately, at the beach. I want to park my seat on that chaise above and gaze mindlessly at the pool + ocean view. Wishful thinking, but a girl can dream.

Stuff.

Specifically, gold stuff. I definitely have a weakness when it comes to the Midas touch. I often joke with Susie that instead of MINTY, we should have named the business, Ye Olde Brass Shoppe. Yes, friends, my name is Nelya and I have a serious gold fetish. Take, for example, that wondrous lotus chandelier below. And look at those floors and that door!

Or this beautiful burnished mirror.

Moreover, just check out our newest MINTY arrivals. A pair of beautifully shiny, with a perfect vintage patina, perforated brass stools. Yes, a pair, twinsies! Lordy, these babies badly want to come home with me (that's what they whispered in my ear, pinkie swear). [update: the brass stools have sold to a wonderful reader, sniff sniff...be sure to check back next week as we are anticipating some amazing new arrivals in the shop] [Thank you, wonderful reader!]

Finally, not golden, but lovely nonetheless, this bedroom and spectacular entry from the portfolio of Madeline Stuart.
