In the Kitchen with: Steven Gambrel

Sigh. I could wax poetic about this kitchen for days. Seriously, for days. To say it's warm, cozy, and inviting is the understatement of all understatements, I think. And if you are just as smitten as I, then it's your lucky day friends. Because for a mere $8.8 million it could be yours. And not just the kitchen, mind you. Nope, for that much green you get a four story early 1800's Flemish Bond Merchant's House. Six fireplaces and a horse walk to boot. After all, it's a serious consideration for every West Village dweller...where to park that darn horse.
See more of this spectacular home here. Thanks La Lampshade for the real estate 411.

Who knew Steven Gambrel is in the West Village.

My husband and I just rented a place in West Village for our oldest daughter. We even used the Corcoran web site to look... We found her comfortable digs in the West Village, all 400 sq. ft. of comfort... a fifth floor walk up to boot albeit on a lovely street. Ha.

What a gorgeous place for sale. I love love love the kitchen and garden.

Okay, maybe we could get a group together to go in on this place?? I've got, like, $20.... ;-)

Beautiful! And I'm sure the rest of the place is just as gorgeous! How wonderful to be able to curl up on that sofa under the window with some tea.

Maybe you can convince Mr. P to buy it for you - you know, just a little pied-a-terre for your weekend jaunts? You can tell him that I think it would suit you very, very nicely.

Anita: yep, that pretty much covers it all.

Rachel: I'll throw a $20 into the pot, any other takers.
Just think people, with the state of the real
estate market being what it is these days, Mr.
Gambrel might just accept a low-ish offer! ;0)

Ally- I'll be sure to tell him it was all your idea...unfortunately, I'm the one who holds onto the check book and I'm afraid this month we're just a teensy bit short on reserves.....

I love this place. I would love to live here although it would make quite a commute for the hubby.

Excellent information and facts. Only real difficulty I was basically receiving was viewing the pics. No idea exactly why.
