Two Donkeys and a Daybed

No, my post title is not the punchline to some very strange joke. After yesterday's post, I happened upon two more images from the prolific portfolio of the team behind CASA MIDY.
With or without the pair of burros, that courtyard is gorgeous. And the lovely studio, well it's the stuff dreams are made of, no?

Moroccan Dreams

I never tire of images from this beautiful, exotic locale. However, what I especially like about this home is the seamless intermingling of the Moroccan feel with a more industrial vibe. Nicely done.

In the Kitchen with: Steven Gambrel

Sigh. I could wax poetic about this kitchen for days. Seriously, for days. To say it's warm, cozy, and inviting is the understatement of all understatements, I think. And if you are just as smitten as I, then it's your lucky day friends. Because for a mere $8.8 million it could be yours. And not just the kitchen, mind you. Nope, for that much green you get a four story early 1800's Flemish Bond Merchant's House. Six fireplaces and a horse walk to boot. After all, it's a serious consideration for every West Village dweller...where to park that darn horse.
See more of this spectacular home here. Thanks La Lampshade for the real estate 411.

I think I have a serious crush on these Moroccan/Spanish influenced tiles. Call them what you will, I'm seriously smitten. I spotted that first snapshot on Roseland Greene this morning, consummate source for all things beautiful. It led me down a stroll through my archives in search of a few more tidbits of inspiration. Crazy beautiful tile, no?
