This concrete chesterfield sofa, oh yes, I said concrete, is ridiculously awesome. I don't think I've ever met a chesterfield I didn't like and this one is no exception. Granted, it's not the usual broken in leather or soft and cushy velvet, but the cool factor alone makes it a standout.
Pretty convincing isn't it?
I definitely did a double take!
And what, say you, would I pair with my fabulous concrete chesterfield? Well, how about another classic, tufted beauty. The sexy Barcelona, perhaps? I spotted this unusual specimen during
RainaFest 2010 earlier this year. Yep, patio furniture with concrete cushions!

Really crazy! I can't imagine how heavy that sofa is. (unless it is hollow inside - hopefully it's hollow inside!) And thanks for your super kind words on my blog. It's really inspiring to know that you enjoy it!
Nuts! I remember the one from Atlanta when we were there. Didn't go to the show, but the pictures at dinner were so cool. Amazing that people actually think of these things.
That's gonna be my tombstone!
Amazing Nelya! Quite artistic!

Love. It.
Karly and I saw the concrete barcelona chair at the round top antiques fair -- awesome, but sadly uncomfy. LOVE the chesterfield so much more, though... it might even be worth having a sore tailbone.
