Circa 1967

Yes, you heard right, 1967. That in itself is difficult to believe. So many covetable pieces under one roof. But it's the art, oh good lord, the art, that is the show stopper here. Or more precisely, the heart stopper.

p.s.- speaking of vintage, the gorgeous Naomi of Design Manifest has a terrific post up today with thoughts on holding out for just the right vintage piece. She's got the hots for a fabulous vintage brutalist credenza and asked for pics of one I happened to snag off eBay. If you'd like a peek into my bedroom, check out Naomi's wonderful blog, here}

Dear Heavens, isn't that something? And the least of which is a reminder of how woefully empty of art my own home is. Wow.

I'm gonna get to work on a time machine - I need to convince her to give me all of her worldly possessions.

Oh yea the art is fantastic.

I aspire to have a pad like this.

And how interesting that they have two Eames chairs in this room. And different finishes too! I dunno, that tan one is calling my name...

ps- posted your pics. thanks again!!

P.S. I love this... said...

Hi Nelya,

Thank you for stopping by!! The mirrored buffet is currently in storage because the house is not quite ready. But I can't wait to put it in the living room. =)

That Brutalist credenza is AMAZING!! I have seen some Brutalist-esque casegoods on Craigslist but the mother load for me would be those Paul Even Brutalist lamps. LOVE THEM.

Have a great weekend.
