Color Me Happy

The first thought I had...it's like being inside a watermelon. In the best way possible, of course.

Oooh I love watermelon. Both the color and the eating kind. Sommers is a dazzling colorist isn't she?

(The thing I'm having a bit of trouble with is the shiny damask. I keep seeing it here and there and find it so old ladyish. Is it just me? Who knows... The more I get used to it, the more I'll want some too.)

i don't love the damask...but i do love that rich over the top color...but in real life i would love that room for a week. then i would need to rip it all out.

Susie, it's not just you. I feel the same way about the damask. I can go for grandma chic, but damask does feel old ladyish to me, regardless of how modern and fresh the space feels. Still, the color is so rich and delicious here, I can get past the print.
