Spare (not)

So, I was all set to write a post about spare spaces. Had the photos lined up and ready to go. Clean expanses, muted color palettes, lack.of.clutter. That was, until I came across these photos. Admittedly, I don't do spare well. Now as for clutter, she and I are tight. I could happily camp out here.

So pretty. You have to have a maid though, can you imagine after just one week? Ooohh I love the slightly mad looking, jumbled up space like these. Your posts are always cozy.

I don't do it well either. This feels like a place you could really live in.

I think I fall in between clutter and spare, leaning more toward clutter for sure. I tend to think of clutter as bad stuff though and not the good (like the piles of paper and detritus on my kitchen table right now vs. layers of yummy things). I might need to adjust my outlook a bit.
