I blush...

The ever so lovely Anne, from City Sage blog fame, was kind enough to mention Head Over Heels as one of her fav blogs in an interview she did with Lynne of Tea For Joy. Well, Anne, a sincere thanks goes out from me to you across this Lil ole Internet. Wow, honestly, you made my week. Be sure to check out all of Lynne's wonderful contributors to "2009 Style Resolutions." Some truly great bloggers have offered equally great insights on style. Thanks again Anne, I blush!

uh oh, I'm Smitten

I love the graphics on these and the color combinations, but what really attracted my attention were those subtle rounded corners and the custom display shelf, made from recycled teak. So adorable! The third born's room will need a little revamp this year to take it from nursery to big boy room. I think these are just the ticket to get that process rolling.

*in retrospect, I think I've decided I'm head-over-heels for all their products, they are cute without being overly cutesy...love!

'tis a thing of beauty

Is it possible to fall head over heels in love with a sink? I think it is, I'm floored!

Boughed Over

I am completely giddy with glee that I came across this lovely project today. We have a large expanse of empty wall in the basement living room. Hard as I try to be a minimalist and just let it remain barren, it keeps calling to me, crying out for decoration. But until now, I have not been able to commit...wallpaper, giant cork board, chalk wall, art gallery display...these have all been contenders. I think my problem has been solved, how about some lovely fallen branches and a few bits of colorful ribbon for a dramatic, organic display. It might be a temporary fix, but I have a feeling this is exactly what my wall has been crying out for.

Austin Idyll

If my poor memory of high school french has not completely escaped me, then this is the home of Liz Lambert, hotelier extraordinaire. This tranquil abode looks like a perfect getaway to simply get away. What a beautiful, calm and hypnotic retreat.

I want a typewriter so I can do this.

I've really wanted a vintage typewriter (look at that color!) to display in my foyer and have all our guests leave lovely thoughts as reminders of their visits. (Who am I kidding, the most likely use will be my children leaving cryptic messages about what they must.have.now!) I digress, anyway, I love this idea from poppytalk.

Go ahead...oooh and aaah...
