These interiors are a bit more traditional than I would normally post, but I simply could not resist their allure. Perhaps it's the pull of New Orleans that grabbed my attention, I'm a sucker for the decayed grandeur of the Big Easy. Naw, who am I kidding, it's that riot of color, pattern, texture that I'm all riled up over, y'all!
Missus Rufty, the designer behind these sassy rooms certainly has an enviable talent for mixing bold color with venerable Americana, a splash of chinoiserie and perfect scale.
I don't know what exactly to call this style, but I know I like it!

I am loving that looong hallway. The light fixtures, the wallpaper, the floors. Can one live just in a hallway? I'd try.

When the hallway looks like that, why not!
Hi there, Emily, glad you stopped by!
I love those pictures, and, even though I generally don't care for animal prints, I really want that zebra chair and ottoman!
I love the wallpaper in the bathroom and the corner banquette!

Me too! That's why The Pea has that distinctive first name. ;)
I adore that patent leather banquette.
I love it. I love the wallpaper choices made in the rooms and I love the vintage feel too.
i love the yellow curtains and the blue room with bookshelves!
Hi ya Lilith, thanks for stopping by!
Raina, I love that glistening banquette and you know I love the Pea's beautiful first name, even more so now that I know the inspiration behind it!
