{come on in, the gate's always open}
{have a seat, put your feet up, and feel free to ogle the surroundings}
{just a few finishing touches and dinner's almost ready}
{I know, I know, the red...you can say it, I'm a genius}
{honey, it's okay, sometimes I eat too much too...go, nap, rest}
{don't you just love my take on vintage modern?}
{well now that your up, why don't we take a tour of the summerhouse}
{phew, I think I'm spent myself}
Today I've got a little something cooking at g.'s place. {please ignore the hee haw of my husband, laughing through his nose in the background at the prospect of me cooking ;0)} Why don't you stop by and sit a spell. Can't you just smell the delicious savory scents wafting through the air. If I had my way about it, I'd be enjoying my meal here. Won't you join me?

Oh my. A fantasy indeed! I will come to your place ANYTIME. Stop laughing, sweet husband!!!
You had me at that little picket gate and manicured hedge. Then the red staircase, followed by the angled ceiling. And oh how I want that chest in your take on vintage modern. Once again, a perfect daydreamy story and perfect photos!
The is a beautiful home. I especially like the red staircase with the built-ins underneath,
Oh, and those glass doors in the summerhouse!
Nelya,
You have just posted me all time favorite house. From the picket fence, wallpaper paste on the living room walls, shiny red staircase and window frame, fabulous sink and counter in the kitchen... my heart is beating way too fast. I should mention the square boxwoods, they are a slice of pure genius.
The recipe link to your guest posting is yummy indeed. I know what we are having for dinner tonight. Thanks.
You're growing to grow sick of me me popping in every other day for a cup of sugar.
Raina: never.
Love the black chairs at the rustic table, and the wood counters.
thank you so much for the invite. I had such a splendid time.
I'll definitely join you! I'll bring the iced tea to go with dinner... or maybe margaritas?? ;-) That would be the perfect porch to sit and drink margaritas on!! (FYI: Texas = love of margaritas... at least in my mind anyways!)
Oh. I am in love...! This place is so adorable I can hardly stand it..! The traces of wallpapers past on the living room walls, the red - the red is genius indeed... And the scale. It is so perfectly proportionate. I see houses like this and I think - we need to move. Our house is way top big. This - now this would be perfect.
xo,
-maria
