A little something to help get you through hump day. I, for one, already have Friday on the brain. So any distraction is welcome. Especially when it comes in the form of casual art walls, perfectly imperfect bookshelves, solitary verdant views, yellow settees, rustic kitchens, and red hot lighting, just to name a few.

the yellow background and black horse painting is divine!
Some gorgeous settings, what a breath of fresh air... especially love the pale green painted wall in the "Buena Vista" photo, beautiful.

love your appreciation for a mix of styles here...
I soooo want a home that is styled like these photo's. The imperfection is perfection!
I love looking at homes and these are so satisfying! Thanks!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I loved so many rooms from this post, but the creamy white room with the two mid-century sconces... the slightly curved settee and the fabulous painting of the seated woman. oh my. I am going to dream about that space all day. I want to paint like that... like the Bay Area Figurative Painters.
Thanks for dream material.
I could sit in photo three all day! Thanks for the lovely daydream moment! xo
Windows and chesterfields do it for me every time!
um -- can i just move into that last photo?

Oh Nelya...Sigh, sigh, drool and drool some nore... That is all I do when I visit your lovely blog! Perfect. Always the best. Much fondness, Mon
Picture #5 convinces me that I need an enormous photographic print somewhere in my home.
