Curvy, Sexy, Hot!

There is no shortage of inspiration out there in blogland. I always find my daily dose at The Daily Bed, a compilation of images that will surely whisk you away to dream land. The one above instantly caught my eye and tickled my fancy. Such a huge impact with a minimal amount of furnishings. I love, love, love the way the moulding creates such a feature of the bed.

My bedroom is in a sad state of affairs at the moment. It's pretty much a dumping ground for our entire family of five and after straightening up the entire house, all day long, I'm only too happy to just keep the boudoir doors shut and let the mess accumulate. I've been searching for bedroom re-do inspiration for a long time and the above love nest might be just the ticket. I have an awfully handy FIL and I'm seriously considering recreating this room. Maybe it's just the shot in the a*s I needed. Thanks Raina for pulling the trigger! ;0)

I need this.

Oh yeah, I really do. But the problem is (a) I have no space for it, (b) would it make me more organized or would it become just another spot to hide stuff behind closed doors, and (c) funding. Oh well, I love the look nonetheless. Such a smart, functional, and lovely use of a corner.

If I had to commit to any one style or look, I would say that the first image with its bohemian vibe, the incredible architectural details, and the mix of global influences would definitely be a top contender for my "happy place." But the beauty is, there are so many design choices and possibilities and no reason to be locked in to a particular style. I love all of these images for one reason or another or for many. Which best encompasses your style aesthetic? Can you pick just one?

Have a wonderful, dare I say eclectic, weekend. Afterall, perhaps the best possibility is to stay open to them all!

Here's some food for thought on a Tuesday morning. Beautifully styled images by Yvonne Bakker. I'm feeling inspired. I especially like the fresh take on the wall o' plates. The blue just sings against the all white interior and the arrangement is at once sophisticated and eye-catching. Definitely captured my attention.

Warning: Delicious Babies Ahead

This is a shot of me (left) and my much younger sis (right). I love her for many reasons, but especially because she made me the aunt of these two wondrous babies. You might remember them here, just moments old. Oh how they've grown in just a few short months. They just kill me with their cuteness. Sis sent me these snapshots of my sweet frog princes this morning and how could I not share. Couldn't you just eat them! It's a serious act of self control for me every time I hold one of them. I just want to devour them both in one yummy bite!
