Day two of Snow Siege 2011 is officially underway here at Casa Head Over Heels. We are under 8 plus inches of the powdery white stuff and for us here in the Southeast, it is an unprecedented, not oft seen snowfall. The kiddos are dying to pile on the hats and mittens and get back out on their new sled. I am slightly less enthused and need a little cozy sustenance in the way of these warm, woody, nap-inducing interiors. Aah, I feel better already.
Off to finish my cup of coffee and then off to brave the elements. Hope your day is equally as promising.

we have about 5 inches here. if school doesn't resume tomorrow I may hop a plane...
You can't even imagine how much I love the kitchen in the first photo. I want poured concrete cabinets for my own home, even though it would make no sense whatsoever.
the shitness. all stolen to the files.
i am ready for snow to go.
i hate being trapped.
i need magazines!
i need fresh food.
LOVE that fabulous first shot and of course the bedroom with all the bookshelves. I'll be ensconced with my crew tomorrow as they have already announced school closings for the impending storm!
Donna: where will you go and, more importantly, may I join you? ;0) School will not resume for us tomorrow, it's been confirmed.
Raina- sense, schmense.
Hello Quintessence. Have fun being snowed in with your crew! And thanks for visiting!
J-Nut, I soooo feel your pain.
Oh my ... love love love !!!
Love that bed flanked by book cases.
How many times can I repeat myself? Your photos are stunning! You. You are the photo whisperer. Each blog post takes my breath away. That keyhole fireplace? Oh my gosh.
That bedroom with the books... I would never, ever leave it. Ever.
I wish you could sneak a couple inches of snow to me. It's freezing and dreary here, but not a fake to be found.
Oooooo, that white bed surrounded by bookcases and a natural wood ceiling is dreamy!! That could totally be a perfect retreat.
Hope you're staying warm! It's biting cold here (in the 20's and low 30's with evil wind) - but thankfully no ice. Actually, I take that back.... a snow day or two wouldn't be so bad. If it's going to be that cold, then we should get to stay home. And play in the snow.
Oh that gallery wall was done right! I love it.
