The Midas Touch

A little 80s glamour to go with your brazen, sexy summer tan?

Little brush-textured, gold-toned slabs are graduated in scale. Each piece is articulated so that it falls against neckline and collarbone to stunning effect. Wow. And just $25 for some serious bang! Double wow.

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall...

Man, that wall packs a punch! Bold, graphic, dynamic this dining nook is casual elegance at its best. This so could have gone the route of crafty, happy hands. However, that fabulous greige faux bois wallpaper, those kicky stripes, and the vintage-y furniture make for some fine, fine dining. Well played.

Grown Up Hideout

The boys are on spring break. Which means that I am perpetually responding to a chorus of,
"I'm bored." Wouldn't it be nice to have a grown up hideout like the one above. Just to catch your breath. For a minute (or an hour).

Tell me it's not just me.

I Freakin' Love These Spaces

The wall color, that angular chair, the beautiful wood floor, and the perfect tufted ottoman.

The crazy red lacquer cabinet, the marble (?), zinc (?), soapstone(?) sink, the raw plumbing, the ziggurat-like backsplash. So cool.

Brass, gilding, the foxing in the mirror, sculptural ornamentation, the plaster (cement?) console.

Every surface in this bathroom. From the ceiling to the floor, the unique door, to the gorgeous fireplace innards screams look at me.

Ok, so this post was completely incoherent. Forgive me. I'm simply mesmerized by these rooms.
